1. Acceptance
By starting a conversation with Citu on WhatsApp or using the citu.ai website, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of the service
Citu is an educational conversational assistant operated by CAVEL INVESTMENT LLC ("we", "the Provider"). The service is designed to help users learn about personal finance, investing concepts, and financial literacy through conversations on WhatsApp.
Citu provides general educational information and does NOT:
- Provide personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice
- Recommend specific securities, products, or transactions
- Act as a broker, dealer, investment advisor, or fiduciary
The service may evolve, expand, or be reduced at any time.
3. Eligibility
The service is intended exclusively for individuals 18 years of age or older with the legal capacity to enter into contracts. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Nature of the responses and limitations
Citu is an EDUCATIONAL service. Its responses are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence models and are informational and general in nature.
Citu's responses DO NOT constitute:
- Financial advice
- Investment advice or recommendations
- Legal, tax, or accounting advice
- Medical or professional advice of any kind
- An offer to buy or sell securities
Citu is NOT a licensed broker-dealer, investment advisor, or financial planner. Decisions you make based on information received through Citu are your sole responsibility.
Citu may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. You should verify any relevant data with official sources or qualified, licensed professionals before acting.
5. Acceptable use
By using the service, you agree NOT to:
- Use it for unlawful, fraudulent, or rights-infringing activities
- Send defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise unlawful content
- Attempt to compromise, bypass, or probe the security or integrity of the service
- Perform reverse engineering, mass scraping, or abusive automation
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the service to distribute spam, malware, or any malicious code
6. Intellectual property
The Citu trademark, name, logo, software, texts, and other elements of the service and the citu.ai website are the property of CAVEL INVESTMENT LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No license is granted other than the use of the service in accordance with these Terms.
You retain rights to the content you send to Citu. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license, solely to operate the service (process your message, generate a reply, maintain the conversation thread) as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. No warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including — without limitation — warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be free of errors, interruptions, or vulnerabilities.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CAVEL INVESTMENT LLC, its officers, employees, affiliates, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities arising from the use or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to hold CAVEL INVESTMENT LLC harmless from third-party claims arising from your use of the service in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
